“Application” refers to the locally executed Python software designed to automate cross‑posting and related interactions with Third‑Party Services, also known as “Social Bridge.”
“User” refers to the individual who installs, operates, or otherwise uses the Application.
“Third‑Party Services” refers to Discord, Bluesky, Twitch, TikTok, and any other external platforms or APIs accessed by the Application.
“Device” refers to the User’s personal Windows computer on which the Application is installed and executed.
“Personal Data” refers to any information that identifies or relates to the User, including authentication tokens and content intentionally transmitted to Third‑Party Services.
Scope and Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies solely to the User’s personal use of the Application. The Application is not distributed, licensed, or made available to any other party and does not collect or process data for any developer, organization, or external entity.
Platform Non-Moderation and Routing Labels
SocialBridge does not moderate, monitor, or control access to any external social platform on behalf of any third party. The is_primary designation for Bluesky and Discord accounts is a local technical routing label with no legal or account-standing implications on any platform. This Application must comply with the Terms of Service of each connected platform (Twitch, Bluesky, Discord, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Tumblr, and others) and must not be used to facilitate harassment, doxxing, or unsolicited mass-messaging.
Data Collected by the Application
- Authentication Credentials — API keys, tokens, and other credentials supplied by the User.
- Content Submitted by the User — text, metadata, event information, and media files the User instructs the Application to post.
- Operational Logs (Local Only) — optional logs stored exclusively on the User’s Device.
The Application does not collect analytics, telemetry, usage statistics, or background data of any kind.
How Data Is Used
- Authenticating with Third‑Party Services.
- Posting or synchronizing content at the User’s direction.
- Executing local automation tasks.
- Maintaining optional local logs.
No data is used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or commercial purposes.
Local Data Storage
All data processed by the Application is stored exclusively on the User’s Device. The Application does not transmit data to any external server, cloud service, developer, or third party other than the Third‑Party Services explicitly contacted by the User.
Data Transmission to Third‑Party Services
Data is transmitted only when the User initiates an action requiring communication with a Third‑Party Service, such as authentication, posting content, or retrieving account information.
Security Measures
- Safeguarding API keys, tokens, and credentials.
- Ensuring credentials are stored securely.
- Maintaining the security of the Device.
Data Sharing
The Application does not share, sell, rent, or disclose Personal Data to any third party. The only data shared externally is the content the User explicitly instructs the Application to transmit.
Data Retention
All data remains on the User’s Device for as long as the User chooses to retain it. The Application does not enforce retention periods or automatic deletion.
Children’s Privacy
The Application is not intended for individuals under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors.
