Terms of Service
For Personal, Locally Executed Automation Application
Last Updated: March 2026
Definitions
“Application” means the locally executed Python software designed to automate cross‑posting and related interactions with third‑party services, also known as “Social Bridge.”
“User” means the individual who installs, operates, or otherwise uses the Application.
“Third‑Party Services” means Discord, Bluesky, Twitch, TikTok, and any other external platforms or APIs accessed by the Application.
“Device” means the User’s personal Windows computer on which the Application is installed and executed.
Acceptance of Terms
By installing, executing, or otherwise using the Application, the User acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If the User does not agree to these terms, the Application may not be used.
Scope of Use
The Application is provided solely for personal, private, non‑commercial use. The User agrees that the Application shall be executed exclusively on the User’s Device and shall not be distributed, sublicensed, sold, or made available to any third party.
Compliance with Third‑Party Terms
The User is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable terms and policies of Discord, Bluesky, Twitch, and TikTok.
Credentials and Security
The User is solely responsible for safeguarding all authentication tokens, API keys, passwords, and other credentials used by the Application.
Data Handling and Privacy
The Application does not transmit or store personal data beyond what is necessary for authentication and posting content to Third‑Party Services.
Restrictions
The User shall not use the Application to violate platform policies, send spam, reverse engineer the software, or cause harm to Third‑Party Services.
Platform Non-Moderation and Routing Labels
SocialBridge does not moderate, monitor, or control access to any external social platform on behalf of any third party. The is_primary designation applied to Bluesky and Discord accounts is a local technical routing label only — it determines which account's credentials are used for reply and quote-post threading. It confers no moderation authority, oversight rights, or account-standing implications on any platform. Automated cross-posting via this Application must comply with the Terms of Service of each connected platform (Twitch, Bluesky, Discord, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Tumblr, and others). The Application must not be used to facilitate harassment, doxxing, or unsolicited mass-messaging.
Modifications by the User
The User may modify the Application solely for personal use. Modified versions remain subject to this Agreement.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of Liability
The developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the Application. The User assumes all risks associated with operation and misuse.
Termination
This Agreement terminates automatically if the User distributes the Application, uses it commercially, or violates these terms.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the User’s jurisdiction.
Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the User and the developer.
